Tickets for the Magic Kingdom’s Halloween and Christmas hard-ticket private events will go on sale May 1st.

Both parties occur after normal park hours, beginning at 7pm and running until midnight. Both have special event parades and fireworks. To attend either event, you must purchase a ticket for the date specified, as admission is not included with regular theme park admission. You do not, however, need to visit the theme park during the regular part of the day to attend the event at night.

These events can sell out, as they have limitted capacity. If you’re considering attending, purchase your tickets as soon as your plans are finalized.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be offered September 15, 22, 29; October 2, 5, 6, 10, 12, 16, 17, 19, 20, 23, 24, 26, 27, 30 and 31, 2006.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be offered November 13, 17, 27, 28, and 30; and December 1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 18, 19, and 21.

Be advised that the Magic Kingdom park will have a “hard close” to set up for the events at 6pm on the nights they are offered. This means any guests without a ticket for the party will be ushered out of the park promptly at 6pm.

Tickets can be purchased by calling 407-W-Disney or from Disney’s website after/on May 1st.
