Janaury, while typically a slower month, is also filled with a plenty of work to get the parks bright and shiny for the spring and summer crowds.
Roof work seems to be the common theme in the Magic Kingdom. Pictured above, the Riverboat Landing gets some new shingles, and the finishng touches of the fascade near Peter Pans flight also needs a few areas of shingles. The semi-annual refurbishment of the water play area outside of Mission: SPACE and Test Track is underway. Over by Electric Umbrella, more turquoise tile is being removed from the planters.
A peak in from the second floor seating area at the Electric Umbrella reveals that Disney is hard at work to rid Epcot of all blue-green tile.
Animal Kingdom and MGM aren’t to be left out. Animal Kingdom still has massive walls flanking Asia as the new restaurant is being constructed and MGM boasts walls all along Mickey Avenue for the much anticipated Midway Mania attraction.
