Disney-MGM Studios’ Sounds Dangerous will be closed June 21-24.
Wildlife Express Train closed June 26
The Animal Kingdom’s Wildlife Express Train will be closed June 26.
American Heritage Gallery Refurbishment
The American Heritage Gallery at the American Adventure will be closed July 23rd to September 26th, 2007, for refurbishment. The gallery will close its current Echos of Africa exhibition and install a new exhibit called National Treasures focusing on historic items from noteable Americans.
Geir Ness personal appearance
The Norwegian frangrance designer Geir Ness will be at the Norway pavilion in Epcot giving hand massages and free product samples June 19th to 21st. His frangrances give the shops of Epcot’s Norway their distinctive flowery scent.
MGM adds Fantasmic! show 6/16/07
The Disney-MGM Studios park will have an additional showing of Fantasmic! on the night of June 16th, 2007. The park is apparently going to be busier then Disney originally anticipated.
American Adventure Refurbishment
The American Adventure at Epcot will be closed June 18 – 21, 2007, for refurbishment.
The attraction is said to be receiving new film elements.
No more Opportunity City
Opportunity in Innoventions East has closed and been walled up. We’ve heard rumors of an exciting replacement which happens to take up twice as much space as the closed venue (suggesting another exhibit will close), but do not have any further details.
Marked with a Marquee
Innoventions East and West are getting new signage at all 4 entrances. This is said to be the start of a total retheme of Innoventions at Epcot. Similiarly, nearby Character Spot is getting newly installed themed signage soon as well.
Food and Wine Festival Booking Aug 6th
The Epcot Food and Wine Festival will begin taking reservations for all special events, dinners, and Party for the Senses on August 6th, 2007. Contact 407-WDW-FEST (939-3378) for more information on the events or to make reservations.
Guerlain temporarily closed at Epcot
The Guerlain shop in France at Epcot is temporarily closed while it undergoes rennovations. They’re replacing the shelving and glass cases. The end date for the refurbishment is currently unknown.
