In preparation of the holiday shopping rush, Disney has been adding elaborate decor to several shops. We took great delight in this twist on the concept of a “shimmering Cinderella castle” as expressed in a tower of light-up toys in the Emporium:

Seasonal merchandise has also made its way into the parks, with advent calendars pre-packed with candy and holiday-themed mouse ears.

Got a far away friend who needs a little holiday cheer? For $29.95 you can purchase a small Disney-themed mini-tree which comes with decoration ready to ship. It comes in a festive sealed tube with space for an address and a spot to attach postage. Visit the Confectionery on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom to pick one up or contact Disney Mail Order services to have one delivered.

For those looking for a unique adult gift, there’s always the Mickey Mouse nutcracker. It sells for $350 and can be found at stores such as Epcot’s Mouse Gear.
