If you’re wanting to see the Magic Kingdom New Year’s Eve Fireworks, you can do so on December 29, 30, and 31st. The show has been slightly modified from previous years, but maintains the same general format. As always, our advice is to catch the Magic Kingdom fireworks before New Years Eve itself and spend that day at one of the other parks, with Epcot being the most pleasant to be in when it’s extremely crowded. Did we mention just hanging out at your resort is an option?

In general, bring your patience and be aware of possible park closures due to capacity. Annual Passholders and Disney Resort guests are the last ones turned away. Dining reservations do not guarantee you entry to a park. Arriving early and camping out is often the best way to guarantee you wont be locked out.

Magic Kingdom closed fairly early last year and the Epcot parking lot reached capacity for part of the day. The monorail service was even suspended to everyone except the Polynesian, Contemporary and Grand Floridian guests who had their resort ID’s. Carry your resort ID with you at all times during this period.
