According to our sources, whatever troubles the U.S. and U.K. economies are having do not seem to be affecting crowds at Walt Disney World. Visitors from other parts of Europe and South America seem to be making up virtually all of the difference.
At this time, we do not plan to adjust downward any of our crowd predictions for the remainder of 2008. We monitor crowd levels in WDW, as well as hotel occupancy data, on an almost daily basis. If the situation changes in Orlando, we’ll change our position. But for now, assume crowds in WDW will be consistent with those seen in the recent past.
