Rumor: Magic Kingdom To Expand Attractions Open During Morning Extra Magic Hours

According to the folks at WDWMagic.com, the Magic Kingdom will add Frontierland’s Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain and Fantasyland’s Snow White and Mad Tea Party attractions to its morning Extra Magic Hours lineup.  We suspect this is in response to the imminent closing of Space Mountain for its April to November refurbishment.

If true, we’ll begin researching how this will affect the Magic Kingdom Touring Plans, and post updates as needed.

  • …and none of the sites have been listing Disney’s Dreams Come True Parade times past April 30th…even though they do list the DHS and AK parades well past this month.
    ??

P.S.–That would be “user-friendly,” unlike this laptop keyboard. 🙂

  • Well, the calendars are up for WDW’s USA site but completely blank. (Just as well. They haven’t really been user-friednly since the new website went up.)
However, the Canadian WDW website does, in fact, have these additions posted for this Thursday morning’s EMH at the Magic Kingdom:
    Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
    Splash Mountain
These were not listed just a few hours ago.

    Here’s the complete list:
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Cinderella’s Golden Carrousel, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Haunted Mansion, “it’s a small world”, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Mickey’s PhilharMagic, Peter Pan’s Flight, Splash Mountain

  • I’ve been checking the morning attractions EMH calendar at Disney’s website…no updates yet. 🙁
(However, this morning’s check got the following message: “This page is down for maintenance.” So maybe…..?)
