Hey everyone. We have a group that organizes the Drink Around the World Event in a big group-like fashion. Our site is http://www.comedrinkwith.us This will be our fifth year and last year we had about 100 people all go. Just a heads up for people who like to do it in a big social group.

Kristen,
You said your margaritas in Mexico were good but I would have to say the one I had was the most watered down, cheap Tequila version I have ever had. It was surprising considering how good everything else on our trip was. We enjoyed the beers at Biergarten and of course the Carlsberg beer in Norway. Maybe we just hit a bad day of margaritas in Mexico, or that I am used to better ones here in Texas, but unfortunately I would not go back and try a margarita in Mexico again.

Last time I went to Orlando, the only day I spent in a Disney theme park was actually doing nothing but drinking around the world. We broke it up in the course of a single day by often sharing drinks among a couple of us. No need to drink an entire beer at each one.

It was fairly costly which I’ll discuss at some point in this series so i can totally understand that. You could always break it up over several trips. That way it won’t cost a lot in one shot and you could probably convince someone to have a drink or two rather than 11. You’re always welcome to join our montly crew if we’re there at the same time. We’re already discussing round 2!

I’ve always wanted to do the drink around the world, but either it is too cost prohibitive or I don’t have the time or someone to do it with. But um sure one day I’ll do it.
