  • Very excited, waited patiently for the system to come up and was able to get reservations for our Feb trip including lunch at the castle on Valentines Day!! Of course our now “not sure if princesses are cool anymore” 8 year old isn’t sure she wants to got to the castle. ARGH.

  • Had the same problems as everyone else yesterday. Made Cinderella breakfast reservations online before 6 am EST this morning! Wish yesterday had been as easy.

  • Yup, had no trouble today online. Got Royal Table for March!

  • Had no trouble today with the online reservations.

Was able to make all of my reservations, including Cinderella’s Royal Table, for the 3rd week in February without any problems.

  • After reading the frustration of others I hate to admit that my TA took care of it all; sent me an email before I woke up on the west coast, and got me everything within 15 minutes of my requested time.

I agree with those that planning where you want to eat 6 months in advance is just weird.

  • At some point even the most fanatical disney diner would have to ask if getting a restaurant reservation is worth so much trouble. You can eat great meals anywhere, you know. Isn’t your time in “the world” better spent experiencing the things you’ve already paid for and that Disney spends millions on developing?

  • Called three times now for Cinderellas Royal Table. Have now been told that they can take bookings only until Feb but not after this date as there is a technical problem.

Have to say everyone has been incredibly helpful and have made all my reservations now except Cinderellas.

So will start again tomorrow for the castle.

  • I got online at 4:55am CST. I was VERY upset to see that the March dates were already released, even thought I was told that they were not going to be released until 5:01am CST. Of course I tried to get Royal Table and it was already sold out. Shortly after, the site crashed. Tried the dining line at 6:00am CST couldn’t even get through. Called the BBB line and got through right away. They are able to book dining as well, which I wasn’t aware of until she asked me if I wanted to make them.
Got into everything but Royal Table. Will keep trying every day until our trip.

  • Only took about 10 minutes to get through, 14 minute hold though…not to bad based on the comments above 🙂

  • Started calling at 7:00 a.m. EDT and didn’t get though to a live person until 10:00 a.m. It then took me 90 minutes on the phone (half of it on hold) to make reservations for 7 meals in March. The system crashed several times when I was on the phone with the rep, so we had to rebook some of the reservations 3 times (twice losing eating times that had been available minutes earlier). Online website reservations were no better, system was down from 6:15 a.m. EDT until at least 10:15 a.m. EDT when I gave up. Very frustrating although I largely got the ADR’s I wanted in the end. They clearly weren’t prepared for the volume.

    • For those looking for park hours, the website still has nothing posted for March 2010 or later, but the Disney reservations rep I (finally) spoke to (for over 90 minutes!) was very helpful and gave me the hours for the week we will be there, including the extra magic hours days for each park as well as the Fantasmic showtimes etc. Be sure to ask in advance if you need to know this info when making your reservations.

  • I finally got through about 3pm central. I had a 9 minute wait and was able to book everything I wanted including the Royal Table breakfast. The booking system seems to be the problem. The CM was constantly apologizing for the systems slowness.

  • Just got my reservations for Le Cellier and Biergarten in March – the cast member made it sound like some restaurant reservations were available in the system and some were not. Be patient, cheerful and kind to the cast members – I know that the CM I spoke with really appreciated my patience; it’s got to be difficult over there right now, as the system isn’t something they control.

Good luck to everyone! It’s possible!

  • Got through at 7:15 after 30 minutes on hold the phone got disconnected. Finally got through again at 1:45 and after 15 minutes on hold was told the system was down!!! Not feeling alot of magic over here right now!!!

  • Tried again – easier to get through but told system still down so no luck. They said to try back after 4pm.

  • Finally got through after 2 hours of trying from the UK. On hold for a further 30mins. Managed to get all my ADRs for next April with the exception of Cinderellas. Apparantly this has not been loaded due to technical problems. On the phone for over an hour making reservations as the system was very slow.Fortunately my CM loaded all the reservations half way through in case system crashed.

Tried again 3 hours later to do the Royal Castle. Again on hold for 30 mins to be told still not available. Told might be available tomorrow but more likely the day after.

    What a day!

  • Was about 1/2 way through with booking online, and the system crashed (before she saved the ones we set up…argh). They sent her an email indicating that they had a fix to all of the issues…would take 20 minutes (until around 12:45 EST) to reboot. At that time they expect the web booking to be working again. FYI…

  • Finally, I got connected, and they say a 30 minute wait. My phone is plugged in and charging.

    • I got connected to a rep in less then 30 minutes. Then she could not bring up my Hotel reservation on the system and asked my to call back.

  • Finally got in at 9:50 am only to be told the system is down. Got back in at noon and booked all but Cinderella’s Royal Table. They did not yet load these dates in the system. Ridiculous! Told to call back later tonight or tomorrow. On line reservations still saying “error”.

      • 25 minutes wait…

  • Got up at 5:30am to sign onto computer..same as everyone else. No luck. After a few misses at 7:00 on the phone, got through and was on hold for about 30 minutes. Did get all my ADRs for Feb stay within 10-15 minutes of request times. Expected delays and system issues so had made arrangements at work. Try to stay calm. The magic goes both ways.

  • Phones jammed, finally got through. Was on hold for 15 minutes. Reservationist told me the reservation system was down and had been down the last 2 hours. She said to try calling back in 2 hours. Was too bad to waste time getting through but atleast no one else is getting ADRs either. Can’t seem to find park hours for MK for Feb either!

  • “All circuits are busy” for over 2 hrs, then got through, but on hold for 30 minutes. Finally spoke to a CM who said they could not take any reservations at this time and to call back in 30 minutes. ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGH!

    • Website now says “We are currently rolling out a *NEW* online dining application to make your reservation process even easier. Please come back and try our new system when it is available.”

Just more fun for the day.

  • I’m probably being stupid, but can someone tell me where to go to get the park hours/restaurant info?

I’ve never tried an ADR before, but we want to get a couple in place for our trip next May and thats now 179 days away!

  • No luck here either. I’m not surprised but I am frustrated. I feel sorry for the CMs, I hope peole don’t take this out on them. This is a computer problem not a CM Fail.

  • What a nightmare. We started calling 5 minutes ahead of 7am and got the usual reply about the office being closed. Then we`ve been hit with the `all circuits are busy` and can not get through!

Can`t do anything on the website as thats down as well. Surely Disney should have predicted the huge volume of calls they were going to get today!

Why did they revert to the 90 days and not just keep it at 180 days?

    Thanks

    Sam
