Site Navigation Tweaks
We’ve updated our site navigation scheme (see the top of this page, and the top of the TouringPlans.com to better reflect the focus of the site: the Crowd Calendar, Touring Plans, and Lines. We moved the Books, Dining, and Resort sections into the “More” tab. These new changes should make it easier to hop around the key sections of the site more easily. Please let us know in the comments what you think!

Sounds good to me. Whatever’s clever.
Cool, thanks Eric!
In the words of Soarin, nice work pal!
Best attraction reference evar!
As someone who uses TouringPlans primarily to find 24/7 updates about Cosmic Ray’s, I think this is a horrible idea. I’ve been banished to the “More” tab! : )
Looks good Henry, and the navigation definitely reflects the new focus. Keep up the good work.
Hah! I forgot about the Cosmic-Rays-fan-club contingent. Thanks Dustin.
Woah! I love the new visibility given to Lines, since that is the coolest place to hang out ever. Nice job Henry
I’m also a big fan of exposing the Closures (err… “Refurbs”) link as a top-level nav. So much easier to find now! And really, isn’t Refurb such a more positive spin than Closures?
Thanks Keith! I go back and forth what to call that section
Which do you prefer?
I think “Refurb Schedule” is fine. Now people will see that and get excited, thinking “Cool, my favorite ride is getting refurbished!” instead of “Bummer, my favorite ride is closed!”
Nice, Henry! Much improved first and second level navigation. I never quite figured out the previous version. This is incredibly intuitive!
Thank you!
Thanks JanetSala!
