I loved the last part, about who is a “Disney person.” I read it aloud to my husband and he laughed. He isn’t a Disney person, especially after 5 trips in 3 years.
So, my tip is — only the people in the family who want to go to Disney, go to Disney. (My 11- yr. old son and I are going next month.) You can save money, and there won’t be any grumpy people complaining about everything.
And the non-Disney people go on a separate vacation – my husband is going to Grand Cayman to go diving. We’ll miss each other, but we will all be happy. (Although I’d like to go diving in Cayman too.)
Oh yeah, almost forgot! To make those family memories, find a location everyone loves and go together. We just got back from diving and fun in Turks and Caicos. And economically, these 3 vacations cost the same as if we only took 2.
