September is almost here and it is the start of possibly one of the best seasons at Walt Disney World. Here at TouringPlans.com, we’re ready to give you some hints, tips and tricks to survive September at the Walt Disney World Resort.

First and foremost, check out the Crowd Calendar! September boasts summer like weather but with low crowds, so it may be the perfect time for a last minute getaway.

Make sure to also print your touring plans or get your smartphone ready to go with Lines. September may have low crowds, but a good touring plan is always essential.

Next, let’s take a look at a few amazing activities going on at the parks!

Attendees of the festival can sample eclectic foods, attend special events and even catch HGTV celebrities at the park. Disney’s Wine and Dine Half-Marathon Weekend will also make its return during the weekend of September 30. If 13.1 miles aren’t your thing there is also a themed 5k and kids races. • My fiancée and I are missing every event going on down there except for “Half Way to Paddy Day,” which I made an ADR for as soon as I heard about it. (We’re not “missing” MNSSHP, but we have no interest.) The only thing we’re really bummed about is missing Night of Joy, though. If we had done our cruise at the end instead of at the beginning, we wouldn’t have, but c’est la vie.
