All The Disney World Secrets To Save Time And Money For Only $11.95 A Year

Beginning January 22, 2012, a one-year subscription to TouringPlans.com’s Walt Disney World® content will cost $11.95. In the interest of transparency, we are announcing the price increase now so folks who were about to subscribe can do so at the lower rate.

This one dollar increase is our first in almost two years.  Since that time we have introduced free computer-optimized touring plans, enhanced the site’s user interface, improved the accuracy of our crowd calendar and wait-time estimates by 20 percent, doubled the number of blog posts per month, and added hundreds of resort photos and video.  We’ve also added new vendors to our Least Expensive Ticket Calculator, which saves the average family around $20 per trip.

Subscriptions to Disneyland® Resort in California will remain $6.95.

We’re looking forward to adding several new tools and features to the site in 2012.  Thank you very much for your support.

Sincerely,

Len and the TouringPlans.com team

  • I just purchased touring plans and the site told me it was s 45 day money back guarantee, how to I contact these people to get my money back I check out the site and liked it but my teenagers don’t want their first visit overplanned

  • I’m with Nikki. If the planning pages came back, I would pay $25 a year for TP.com. As it stands now, I think I would pay $15-$19 a year with a discount offered for multi year purchases

  • Fine by me, though I really wish the planning pages would come back. I loved using those for planning my last trip, and I’m bummed that I didn’t save them, as they’re no longer available. I wish I had them for our trip this September.

  • Also agree, I love your site and think you’re delivering great value. The price increase is understandable — the price of everything goes up, and you folks live in the same economic reality as everyone else. Thanks for the heads-up on the price increase.

  • I’m happy to support TouringPlans.com. My subscription currently expires in April 2012. If I were to renew today, would that cover me until April 2013? Or just one year from today (January 2013)?

    • Whoops! Duh, I answered my own question by clicking the RENEW button… “Your current subscription expires on April 5, 2012.
If you renew today, your subscription will last until April 5, 2013.”

      Sorry

      • No problem, thanks for posting here in case others have the same question.

  • I would pay $20 for the use of Lines exclusively. Everything else is just gravy.

  • Our increase will be a dollar across the board, including discounted prices.

  • If you ask me..$11.95 is still a steal for all you provide.
Thanks again for all you do!

    • Thanks Scott. We often hear that from our customers. Out of curiosity, what is the highest price at which you would still consider the subscription to be “a steal”.

      • $11.95..just kidding.
Assuming you would get everything included (for WDW or DL) for one price I would probably pay up to $19.95..assuming that would also include an autographed photo from my blogger of choice..haha.

      • I agree with Scott – $20 is a good price point, possibly a bit cheaper with the UG discount. I have been on other sites with versions of crowd calendars and touring plans, but there is no comparison. Add it to it Lines, the blog, and all of the detailed informationon this site and a vacationer could easily get back the $20 before leaving their driveway. In the podcasts with Len Testa and Jim Hill, they reiterate that guests needs at least 10 attactions per day to feel they are getting a value from the world. With TP person could average 10 attractions before an afternoon break on all but the busiest days. $ Raise it up! It is well deserved, sincere thanks for all you do.

      • I am going going to diagree with Scot – I might fork out the $20 because I am a Disney nut, but many people will be put off by something that costs as much or more than the Guide Book that this website is based on. I know, I know, there is so much more to this site than what’s in the guidebook (Crowd Calendar, Lines, etc) but I think I would not go above $14.95.
BTW – thanks for the warning, I renewed tonight to save my $1!

  • How much will the discounted price be if you buy the UG?
