Country Bear Jamboree To Go Down For Refurbishment
The Bear Band at The Country Bear Jamboree found in Frontierland at the Magic Kingdom will be on a hiatus for about a month and a half. According to Disney, this refurbishment is expected to take place September 1 to October 17, 2012.
Then, once again, you’ll be able to sing and clap along with Henry, Big Al, Liver Lips, Teddi Barra, Wendall, Trixie, and The Five Bear Rugs, in the good old key of G.

I would hope for an audio upgrade. Maybe a squeaker replacement in Little Oscars teddy bear and cleaning blood off a saddle too?

Awesome!
It wont be reopening from refurb until the day after we return home from our next trip. Cant say i’m gonna lose sleep over this one. haha
Nice update. Glad we’ll be there soon after. We’d have a couple un-happy campers who love the Jamboree.
I hope it will be completed by the 17th. We leave on the 20th and I’d like to see the improvements.
Isn’t that the time of year when they used to switch to the holiday overlay?
back when they DID have the Christmas show that changeout didn’t happen till around Thanksgiving week, from wha i’ve heaerd not only will some (if not all) the characters be rebuilt, but the soundtrack MAY also be (gasp) SHORTENED. what on EARTH could they possibly cut from the show?? considering how short each song is the cuts are BOUND to be noticeable (if indeed they happen)
