The first sign of Christmas has appeared in Disneyland. The snow has now been added to the castle.

The construction scrim has been removed from the outside of Disneyland City Hall. The rumor going around is City Hall and the Main Street Fire Station were refurbished because of the upcoming filming for “Saving Mr. Banks” that is going to take place in the park on November 6th and 7th.

The Fire House has also had its scrims removed.

Guests with 4 and 5 day tickets now must use specially marked entrances at the Disneyland and Disney California main entrances. Another change in policy is that guests must show ID when using these tickets.

Construction continues at Fantasy Faire.

Monstro is back from refurbishment and looking great. Before his refurbishment the paint was looking cracked and faded. TheĀ Storybook Land Canal Boats are currently scheduled to reopen from refurbishment on 11/15/12. Speaking of Disneyland refurbishments, our list was recently updated to include the 10 month closure of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad which we were recently able to confirm. All of the confirmed upcoming Disneyland refurbishments can be found here.

It’s a Small World is currently closed for installation of its holiday overlay. It’s a Small World Holiday is currently scheduled to open on November 8, 2012.

Construction continues at Fantasyland Theater.

The structure formally used for the Princess Royal Walk is being removed at the Fantasyland Theater.

The Toontown Gas Station is being refurbished. The refurbishment includes the restrooms, fruit cart, and drinking fountains.

The ice skating rink in Downtown Disney had its grand opening on Tuesday night. The rates are $15 for all ages, $3 skate rental fee, and $2 locker fee. The skate sessions start daily at 11 AM.

I can’t believe this is the last construction update I will ever post for Earl of Sandwich. Earlier this week word spread around Twitter that the Anaheim location will open on November 2nd! Just in time to get the holiday sandwich!

Another look at Earl of Sandwich.

That’s it for this week!
