The Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights is almost done being set up on the Streets of America at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  This event, done yearly, is really a sight to be seen.

Each year, Disney seems to add something new to make it even better, and this year is no exception.

Santa Goofy will be greeting guests in a setup called Goofy’s Winter Wonderland.

In addition, a new song has been added for the dancing portion of the evening. This year, a special version of Winter Wonderland will be playing, in addition to the other seven songs that play nightly.

The Spectacle will run nightly from November 9, 2012, to January 6, 2013.

  • The Osborne lights are one of my favorite things at WDW. I can’t wait to see them again this year.
Will there be a photopass opportunity with Goofy?

  • Yeah! My favorite event of Holidays at the World. Looking forward to Goofy’s Winter Wonderland as something new and different and being thrust into massive awe from dancing lights, music and snow! Thanks for the update.

  • Can’t wait to see the Osborne Lights for the 1st time this year!

  • We will be there Dec 9-14 and the time for the Osborne Spectacle is listed as 6-8pm. Is it an ongoing show? When is the “dancing” portion? Can we go to the 6:30 fantasmic and still see the dancing lights? My 4 year old is obsessed with Christmas Lights so I want to make sure this is something we don’t miss. Thanks!

    • The lights light up continuously from 6-8 pm. The dancing portion takes place approximately every 20 minutes or so, I believe.

As far as if you’ll be able to see the lights after Fantasmic!, yes, you should still be able to head over to the Streets of America after the show and catch the lights. I am unaware if they will dance once the parks closes, but do know they remain on. (They didn’t dance the last time I visited for the Holidays!)
