Disney is bringing a lot of new interactive fun to the New Fantasyland area in the Magic Kingdom! Recently the Royal Majesty Makers began working in the Enchanted Forest, but it seems this was only the beginning.

The Storybook Circus Giggle Gang is setting up camp in the Storybook Circus area near Dumbo and The Barnstormer. These clowns will allow guests to yuck it up with the trio: boss clown Chuckles Buffoon McMonkeyshine III and his partners in “clown,” Whinny Horselaugh and Snort.

In addition, guests will be able to interact with the Silly Saxtet, a saxophone group that puts its own spin on things.

A neat tidbit is that several of these performers have in fact been trained by legitimate circus troupes, including Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College.

  • ugh!My family hates clowns. JoJo was an exception to that rule but this is just…ugh!

  • Not for those with Coulrophobia. Maybe this will reduce the lines around the Dumbo/Casey area?

  • Well, they have been hinting about some horrible creature sighted in and around the new Fantasy Land expansion. I guess this was what they were warning us about…
