New Bus Loop To Be Added To Magic Kingdom
A brand new bus loop is currently being added to the Magic Kingdom.
This new area will serve as a depot for the over-sized, articulated buses that Disney tested last year. It will also provide additional capacity for the park.
Construction on this new area is expected to start today, March 18, 2013.

At first I thought this was about the bus area at the TTC, but now realize the area to be under construction is at the Magic Kingdom.
During a visit in late February, my family was staying offsite and used the bus area at the TTC a number of times. That area was under construction at that time. Do you know what they are/were doing there?
Where are the busses going to / from?
I believe this new area will accommodate the extended buses that kinda have the accordion fold in the middle. I believe they will be resort buses but someone may have heard more than I did.
Yes! Those are the exact style buses that are coming. And if I had to take a guess I’d say they would be for resorts.
Is there a projected date when this project will be completed?
These buses have been banned in London as being dangerous! So will be interesting to see what safety instructions Disney give!
