Adventurers Outpost Meet and Greet Location Set to Open This May
The previously announced indoor meet and greet venue called Adventurers Outpost will officially open on Sunday, May 12. The location can be found where the former Beastly Bazaar store was in Discovery Island near the path to Asia.
At this new “exploration headquarters” found in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, guests will have the opportunity to meet both Mickey and Minnie. The area will be filled with memorabilia from the duo’s travels around the world.
Mickey and Minnie will be moving to this location from Camp Minnie-Mickey; however, guests will still be able to meet other characters in that land.

Camp Minnie-Mickey, the land, will still exist, at temporarily. It is the rumored location for the upcoming Avatar land that is being built in the park in the upcoming years. (Right now, they are also working on building a new location for Festival of the Lion King over in the Africa section of the park, according to rumors.)

Will it still be called Camp Mickey & Minnie? Will they still pick a family to raise the flag in Camp M & M? Our family was picked back in Febuary by Janice, we had such an awesome time, we were there celebrating my DD’s Good Health & 5th Birthday. I bought a Memories Book from the Photopass & it is great, the pics my DD loves the most are the Camp pics & the one of her being pick to start the Lion King Roar section of the Lion King show.
