In Case You Missed It – Disney and Universal Orlando News and Rumors

Do you believe the latest rumors? These are some doozies for sure. I’m not sure I believe all of them, but it would be interesting to see what becomes fact and what becomes fiction. (Soon? Disney, please? Like around one month from now?)

Disney is the second most respected company according to Barron’s.

Disney has named a brand new CFO–Christine McCarthy. Find out more about this new executive.

Do you typically fly to Walt Disney World or Disneyland? The government is looking into the the high airline prices.

Remember a while back when Innoventions closed most of its attractions? Well, the question is now, is this what’s headed into Epcot’s Innoventions? Rumors indicate it might be. What would you like to see happen in Innoventions?

Disney Consumer Products and Disney Interactive have now been merged as one. Wonder what this could this mean for the two moving forward?

Have you tried out the latest Disney app? Make your own Disney gifs! It’s a lot of fun. Happy gif-ing!

Disney has officially crossed the 1 billion dollar mark, yet again, for 2015 with their box office releases, such as Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Cinderella, and Inside Out. What’s crazy? This is the fastest any studio has ever accomplished this feat!

Looking for some Inside Out Easter eggs? Yahoo has found some great ones.

Curious about the use of Black Panther in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War? Marvel President Kevin Feige explains the move.

Lots of Universal permits…this one appears to relate to The Incredible Hulk. What would you like to see happen with The Hulk? Would you like to see it completely re-themed or would you like to see The Hulk theme stay, but updated?

Want to see behind the scenes of Sharknado 3 which was filmed partially at the Universal Orlando Resort? Are you excited about this campy movie?

  • I love the Hulk, but in an ideal world they would sort out the second half. Once you go over the lift hill and start to slow down is when the ride becomes painful. Make that last part smoother and it would be a near perfect coaster

  • I do think that eventually Universal will sell the rights to its Marvel property, so I expect the Hulk overhaul relates to it. I love the ride, but it doesn’t relate to it being Hulk. It’s really about the amazing launch, which could still work with a variety of themes.
