It’s time to celebrate America with a bang and Disney will be doing so in red, white, and blue style! If you’re looking for fireworks spectaculars, Walt Disney World is the place to be! Here’s what you can expect to experience when saluting all nations, but mostly America.

Magic Kingdom

Celebrate the country’s highest office by enjoying a stop at the infamous Hall of Presidents. This inspirational Liberty Square show which includes all 43 U.S. Presidents tracing the history of the office, takes place every hour and half hour. Another must see is the Flag Retreat which takes place at 5:00 p.m. each day.

The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade will be shown twice on both July 3 and 4 – once at 12:00 p.m. and once at 3:30 p.m.

Guests will have two chances to catch the spectacular fireworks extravaganza that is “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky.” The 14 minute showcase will take place on both July 3 and 4 at 9:00 p.m.

There will also be two showings of the Main Street Electrical Parade, once at 10:15 p.m. and once at 12:15 a.m.

Epcot

Guests visiting on July 4 will have the unique opportunity to meet their favorite Disney characters dressed in patriotic attire throughout the afternoon at the American Adventure Pavilion. In addition, you will not want to miss the incredible a capella group, Voices of Liberty, who will be performing at the American Gardens Theatre at 12:30 p.m., 1:45 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. and inside the American Adventure Rotunda at 4:15 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Returning for this year’s festivities will be the Spirit of America Fife & Drum Corps (they used to perform daily at Epcot) who will perform at 1:00 p.m., 2:15 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.

Guests should also make sure they take in the American Adventure, a journey through important moments in America’s history narrated by Audio-Animatronic figures of Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain. Guests will also want to experience “The Kinsey Collection,” in the American Heritage Gallery, an exhibit that showcases 400 years of African-American achievement through rare art, documents, books and artifacts.

That evening, the spectacular fireworks and laser show “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth,” lights the night at 10 p.m. with a heart-pounding grand finale in a salute to America.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

What’s more American than Star Wars? The “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular” fireworks spectacular will take place at a special time on July 3 and 4 at 9:30 p.m. The brand new Star Wars-themed fireworks show dazzles with new themed fireworks, lasers, special effects and video projections of iconic characters and scenes from the saga, all set to the unforgettable film score.

I will make sure to update this post as additional Fourth of July events for the resorts get announced!

As a reminder, the Fourth of July is one of the busiest days of the year at Walt Disney World. Make sure to pack your patience and be kind to others. Oh and make sure you come prepared with a plan.

Fourth of July is a fun experience no matter where you are, but Disney certainly goes all out to celebrate America’s birthday.

  • Very good the article, no doubt the holiday of July 4 is a beautiful date to be in Orlando and enjoy the fireworks show at Disney parks and cities around.
