Ratatouille Attraction Coming to France Pavilion at Epcot

Ever since I had heard about the Ratatouille-themed attraction located at Disneyland Paris, I have wished I would have the ability to experience it. Looks like that wish will come true without a trip to Paris.

A brand new Ratatouille-themed attraction will be added to the France Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase.

The attraction will be similar to the 4-D attraction Ratatouille: The Adventure that opened at the Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris in 2014.

During the ride, guests shrink to the size of Remy the little chef rat from Ratatouille and scurry to safety in a dazzling chase across a kitchen with the sights, sounds, and smells of Gusteau’s legendary Parisian restaurant.

The attraction will be built in a location behind the current France Pavilion, so it appears that fans of Impressions de France don’t have to worry that the attraction will be removed.

Who else is excited about getting to experience this great attraction in the future?

  • Whilst Disneyland Paris is a poor and poorly maintained park, generally a disappointment to me after WDW, The Ratatouille themed area is a stand alone peice of Disney brilliance. The attraction is quite unique and the outstanding themeing of the area serves to draw your attention to just what is missing from much of the rest of Disneyland Paris. I’m excited to see this and the other developments planned for WDW. After our 2018 trip we shall having a couple of years off be saving for 2021. I can’t wait already!

  • We went to DLP and rode this last year. Might be the best ride I have ever rode at DLP, WDW, or DL. Certainly the most unique. It will not disappoint.
