In Case You Missed ItThis week was certainly a sad one, with the closures and announced closures of beloved theme park attractions and shows. Which one hit you the most?

Man…you would think the rumor mill would slow down after the D23 Expo….but I feel like that may have only been the beginning. Could be be in another fantastic theme park renaissance? It sure seems that way, because we have news of a change that may take place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and another rumored change that may occur at Universal Studios Florida. Did you miss either of those? Read on for the details, as well as some other fun things you may have missed.

In Case You Missed It – Disney and Universal Orlando News and Rumors

Disney wants to inspire with their new #DreamBigPrincess campaign. It focuses on showing how strong females can be and why we shouldn’t be limited in our dreams and goals. How are you dreaming big?

The internet is loosing its collective minds over the new hot Disney trend…the rose gold mouse ears

Wine Bar George at Disney Springs is now slated to open in early 2018 and you can potentially join their team.

Rumors were flying this week….like the latest rumor stating that Disney’s Animal Kingdom may get an Indiana Jones themed land. What would you think of this? Does it fit better?

Tickets are now on sale for Frozen – The Musical on Broadway! Will you be seeing this?

Last week, Disney announced that they would be introducing their own streaming service. /Film takes a look at what it should and shouldn’t do. I think they are all good suggestions.

Did you miss the premiere of DuckTales? Well, you can watch the whole thing on YouTube! What did you think of the new series? Does it hold a candle to the Disney Afternoon version?

This year, we must say goodbye to Bill & Ted’s Excellent Halloween Adventure during Halloween Horror Nights. Could it be for another Harry Potter attraction? That’s where speculation ran this week.

Speaking of Halloween Horror Nights, we know the next house that will scare the wits out of us. The Saw franchise returns with a Saw: The Games of Jigsaw house. Are you excited about this development?

  • As much as I liked the Indiana Jones movies, I say, “DONT DO IT!!!”

  • I know I’m in the extreme minority, but I like the kitschy theme of DinoLand. Indy should land elsewhere.

  • I agree with Scott, my family and I enjoy the street carnival atmosphere of Dinoland, but I also love Indiana Jones.

  • Not a fan of DinoLand and I’m a big fan of the Indiana Jones franchise, but I simply don’t see how IJ is a fit for Animal Kingdom. I also know I’m in the vast majority of typical parkgoers in that I am over the race to IP attractions. Except for HP… blow up Fear Factor Live and bring on the Ministry of Magic!

  • I have my tickets for Frozen on Broadway for February 23, my birthday – so excited! Also, I may just have to pick up those rose gold ears at Disneyland in November. Thanks for the updates!

  • Disney already offer a Streaming Service in the UK – DisneyLife and it’s fantastic! We were able to give up our Sky Subscription because of it. We have access to much of the Disney catalogue, plus the Disney jnr shows my daughter watches and you can stream 3 of their channels live from the app. So if this ‘new’ streaming service is an upgrade on this app then sign me up.

  • I always thought they should replace Dinoland with something themed to their Nature films – Walt Disney was really into his nature-themed shows and movies and I think it would fit better with the AK theme in general. plus – learning opps for kids in the form of environmentalism, documentary movie-making, etc.
