In Case You Missed ItThis week was a hard one. I’m not going to lie. Please, let’s take care of one another going into this weekend. Do a random act of kindness. I think we all could use it.

This week, see which shows are filming at Walt Disney World this month, see which remakes are coming to the Disney Channel and more.

In Case You Missed It – Disney and Universal Orlando News and Rumors

This past week, we said goodbye to the longest tenured Cast Member at Disneyland. Thanks for everything Oscar.

Ugh…the sound of the crunch. Yikes! Did you hear about how the Disney Dream smacked into the dock in Nassau?

It’s official. The Guardians of the Galaxy attraction for Epcot will be some sort of coaster.

Next year, D23 will throw a 90th birthday celebration event for Mickey Mouse next year at Walt Disney World. (Mickey will be 90 next year?! What?!)

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin just completed a large redesign. Take a look. What do you think?

If you live in one of these nine states, you’re going to need another form of identification if you want to fly on domestic flights.

Looks like Disney really was considering buying Twitter at one point. Huh….kind of can’t believe that rumor turned out to be true.

Bob Iger had some interesting things to say this week. Deadline shares what the CEO said at a recent summit.

This is your reminder to set your DVRs. Next week, “The Chew” episodes that were filmed at Epcot this week will air on ABC.

Wheel….of…..Fortune! The show is taping quite a few episodes at Epcot. Find out more and when to expect to see those episodes.

Disney’s bringing together shows, movies, games, and other content from its three networks — Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior — into a single app: DisneyNow.

Love this story of how Ernie Sabella became Pumbaa.

Pirates 6….oh it seems like it’s happening. Do you want to see it?

Shirley MacLaine has signed on to join Anna Kendrick in Disney’s female Santa Claus film Nicole. What do you think about this film?

Looks like there’s going to be a contemporary musical update of Freaky Friday on Disney Channel.

Speaking of things headed to Disney Channel…Hocus Pocus is coming. Now, I’m a fan of Hocus Pocus, the original, but I have a feeling Disney may be missing the mark on this one. (They do know that the reason the Sanderson sisters came back is because “a virgin lit a candle,” right? Like, that’s a key part in the first movie.) I feel like Freeform would have at least been a better choice for this, but what do I know? (Also, if you are making this, PLEASE consider using Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy. As you can see, I have strong feelings…LOL!)

Turn on those ovens! Learn how to make a Hela-inspired cupcake!

In Episode 2 of NBC’s new behind-the-scenes look at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights, get to know “The Scene Setters.”
