This week, it was announced that the show, Flights of Wonder found in the Asia section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be ending it’s almost 20 year run. Its last performance will take place on December 31.  The show, which took place on the Caravan Stage, featured at least 20 different species of exotic birds displaying fun “tricks” that were all part of their natural behaviors and often included humorous talents. There was also a strong conservation message that was delivered.

Flights of Wonder will be replaced by another bird show, but this time, it will feature Russell and Dug from the Pixar film, Up. The duo will discover species of birds from around the world in their newest adventure. This new show is expected to debut in the spring of 2018.
