#RockTheDots Event at Disney Springs and Downtown Disney

Did you know that January 22 is National Polka Dot Day? Disney is inviting its Guests to #RockTheDots and celebrate the fashion icon that is Minnie Mouse. Guests looking to celebrate should visit Disney Springs in Walt Disney World or Downtown Disney in Disneyland dressed in their polka-dotted attire. During the #RockTheDots event, Guests will be able to take part in unique entertainment, photo opportunities, discounts, and giveaways.

At Disney Springs, Guests who visit should first stop and pick up a commemorative button. Those dressed in polka dots can grab one at the following locations:

  • The Welcome Center
  • Marketplace Co-Op
  • Tren-D
  • World of Disney
  • Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories
  • DisneyQuest
  • Select participating retailers

To help celebrate, many of the Disney Springs retailers will be offering one day discounts and specials to Guests wearing polka dots. Specials includes:

  • American Threads – 20% off purchases
  • Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC – 20% off purchases
  • JOHNNY WAS – 20% off purchases
  • Sperry – 20% off purchases
  • Dino-Store at T-REX – 15% off purchases (Some exclusions apply)
  • Kipling – 15% off purchases
  • Ship’s Store at The BOATHOUSE  – 15% off purchases
  • Sugarboo & Co. – 15% off purchases
  • Volcom – 15% off purchases
  • Basin – 10% off purchases

Moving over to Disneyland, a commemorative button will also be available at Downtown Disney’s World of Disney, Marceline’s Confectionery and Vault 28, while supplies last. Guests will also be able to enjoy the music from a DJ Dance Party from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Downtown Disney Live! Stage. Special photo opportunities will be available to participate in.
