Epcot Refreshment Port closed through 4 April 2009
Epcot’s Refreshment Port in World Showcase will be closed until 4 April 2009. Other nearby locations for snacks and drinks include the coffee/espresso stand between Canada and the U.K.; the Cantina de San Angel; and the snack carts outside of the Imagination pavilion in Future World West.

The Electric Umbrella, a counter-service restaurant in Epcot’s Future World, will be closed through 4 April 2009.
2009 Halloween And Christmas Party Dates Announced
Tickets will go on sale May 1, 2009 for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. No word yet on prices.
Halloween Party dates are September 4, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25 and 29; October 1, 2, 6, 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29 and 31; also November 1.
Christmas Party dates are November 10, 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 29; December 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 18.

AED’s In Parks
The project we mentioned a few months ago to add new defibrillators to the parks is begin to show up. These new units are placed in readily accessible areas like this one found in the plaza near Mission: SPACE.

Magic Kingdom Park Hours Extended
Disney has extended the Magic Kingdom’s operating schedule through the next few days, to better handle spring break crowds. The Magic Kingdom will be closing at 10 pm on March 17, 18 and 20, 11 pm on March 19, and midnight on March 21-22.
Tables In Wonderland (a.k.a., The Disney Dining Experience) Price Increase
“Tables in Wonderland” is a dining program available to Disney passholders and Florida residents. Its primary benefit is to provide a 20% discount on food and alcohol at most Disney World sit-down restaurants. The annual cost to join this program has just risen from $60 to $75 for non-Florida passholders, and to $100 for Florida residents.
If you’re a non-Florida passholder and spend more than $375 annually on food and alcohol at Walt Disney World, Tables in Wonderland can save you money. The break-even point for most Florida residents is around $500 in food and drinks.
Studios’ Indiana Jones closed March 14-15 for cheerleading championships
Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ Indiana Jones attraction will be closed March 14-15, while the venue is hosting cheerleading championships.
