The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson, an international event to build awareness about the importance of teaching kids to swim, will be taking place this Thursday at the wave pool at Blizzard Beach.

The public is encouraged to either come participate or watch. For those wanting to participate, registration begins at 9 am, and the event begins at 11 am. Water Park admission is required. Children under the age of eight must swim with an adult, and families are encouraged to participate together.

For those just visiting the water park that day, fear not! The water park will be open; however, the wave pool will be unavailable for use from 10:35 am to 11:45 am.
