One of the really neat things about World Showcase is that the countries represented get the opportunity to showcase different cultures to the masses. On July 14, the France Pavilion will share one of its traditions by celebrating La Fête Nationale, otherwise known as Bastille Day.

Bastille Day is the celebration of the end of the French monarchy by storming the Bastille fortress, starting the French Revolution and the beginning of the First Republic.

From 11 am to 5 pm, kids who visit the Epcot Kidcot Fun Stop found in France will get the chance to participate in a fun activity. Upon completion, they will receive a certificate.

In addition, guests who visit the pavilion will be able to talk with cultural representatives from France who will be there to explain all about the holiday, along with the country’s history.
