How did the Disneyland Crowd Calendar do last week?

How did the Disneyland Crowd Calendar do last week?

Other than Wednesday and Saturday last week the Disneyland Crowd Calendar did well. We saw crowds generally higher all week although the prediction for Thursday matched what we saw at the parks.

Let’s look at how the crowd levels stacked up each day last week on the TouringPlans.com Disneyland Resort Crowd Report:

Disney California Adventure saw wait times within a few minutes of predicted averages while Disneyland Park saw wait times a little higher, like an average wait of 43 minutes at Peter Pan’s Flight. Recent refurbishments at that attraction are drawing larger than expected crowds.

Monday’s crowds were the lowest of the week save for Thursday. Neither park hit a crowd level at the middle point of our scale, a good sign for late September visitors. Haunted Mansion’s average wait was higher than normal at 34 minutes.

Wednesday’s crowds were the surprise of the week with both parks hitting levels at least three points higher than the Disneyland Crowd Calendar predicted. The increased levels were thanks to higher average wait times like 40 minutes at Tower of Terror and 38 at Toy Story Midway Mania although Radiator Springs Racers was surprisingly low at 57 minutes.

What to Expect This Week
September 27 to October 3, 2015

September crowds have been up at Disneyland compared to historical levels but this week’s Disneyland Crowd Calendar Report shows some evidence that the increase may be fading as we head into October.
