Disneyland Crowd Calendar Report – January 10 to 16, 2016

How Crowded Was Disneyland Resort Last Week?
How Crowded Was Disneyland Resort Last Week?

Last week, Disneyland Resort crowds followed the pattern predicted by the Disneyland Crowd Calendar with the notable exception of Sunday. Last year on the equivalent Sunday we saw Disneyland Resort hit a crowd level ‘2’ but this year the crowds were much busier. Wait times were up in general last week with each day about a point higher than the calendar predicted, resort-wide.

Let’s look at how the crowd levels stacked up each day last week on the TouringPlans.com Disneyland Resort Crowd Report:

hI – I suspect the reason Jan 10 crowds were so much higher than predicted was because that was the last day for many attractions to be open before they’re closed for the construction of the new Star Wars land. Many folks visited for last rides on the train, Mark Twain,Tom Sawyers island, etc, along with visiting both Autotopia and the Jungle Cruise before those two went down for extended refurbishment. In addition, it was the last showing of Fantasmic for over a year because of Star Wars Land.
