"Disney Haiku"

“Disney Haiku”

Hi everyone!  You may recall that a few weeks ago, we invited you to come up with Disney haiku.  A few of you posted some great little poems in the comments (thank you!), but there were many, many more posted to Twitter that you might have missed.  With that in mind, I thought I’d share a few of the better ones that I saw that day.  Read on after the jump!

Let’s get started with a few of what I would characterize as wistful or sentimental haiku:

How about food themed haiku?  Food and drink are a big part of the Disney experience, and yes, there was plenty of food-themed haiku:

The attractions got some love (or at least some commentary), too…

A few snapshots of moments we’ve all experienced:

(Code 101 means that a ride is down)

I’m a Star Wars fan, so let’s close it out with a positive haiku looking forward to the future:

There are plenty more, and you can check them all out by searching twitter for the hashtag #wdwhaiku. Anyway, the whole exercise was an enormous amount of fun, thanks to all of you that took the time to craft and share your haiku!

Got any more, or any ideas for similar just-for-fun challenges? Let me know in the comments!
