One party has a very unique parade, stage show, characters in costume, and trick or treating. The other has prepackaged cookies, watered down hot chocolate, and a parade and fireworks show that can be seen without a party ticket (if you are brave enough to travel over Christmas). Also, the price difference. Halloween Party for sure!
The indication to me that MNSSHP is better is that my daughter always makes it to the very end of the MNSSHP and is always ready to leave MVMCP early.
It’s not one of the options, but Disney After Dark this past spring was pretty good. There seemed to be more rides open than the Halloween or Christmas events.
As a childless 40-something, being able to trick-or-treat like a little kid again was worth every penny. I didn’t have as much fun at the Christmas party.
