Gonna be there this week. So if Magic Kingdom opens at 9am and I want to be there at rope drop, what time should I be getting out of my car? I hear they open early at times.

8:15 would probably get you there without too much rush.

      Homer,

Main Street U.S.A. and the hub open an hour before rope drop. If rope drop is at 9:00, you could get into the park as early as 8:00am.

Like Donk_7 said (Thank you Donk!), 8:15 would be fine if you don’t plan to peruse Main Street beforehand.

      Thanks for the question!

Angela: how does that work now with EMH?

          Stacey,

I would imagine that Disney resort guests who take advantage of EMH would be able to access the rides while the others would wait in the hub or Main Street until rope drop.

If you do plan on taking advantage of morning EMH, I would suggest getting to the park about 30 minutes early.
