It may not be over…Disney may still indeed be eyeing a purchase of Fox.

With Bob Iger officially stepping down in 2019, the pressure is on for the company’s replacement. According to Bloomberg, there’s one name that could be at the top of the list. I’m not sure how I feel about this…personally, I think if you like IP in the parks, this is a decent choice, but if you miss the days of original concepts and were hoping that the next person would allow for more creativity, I don’t know if we’re going to be getting that with Mr. Chapek. If he is chosen, I would like to eat my words, but I don’t know that I will be.

According to reports, Tokyo Disney is looking at adding an additional theme park. Seriously…if this news is true, this increases my desire to make this bucket list trip. Who wants to pay for me to go to Tokyo? No one? Darn…..

  1. Yes, my family was five of the 88 million! We saw Coco this week and it is a touching story. Olaf’s Frozen Adventure was lots of fun as well.

  2. A Disney acquisition of FOX could mean the return to the searchlight logo, drums, and horns that preceded Star Wars episodes 1-6 that blends perfectly into the Star Wars theme at the beginning of the movie…

  3. The Starbucks delivery at Disney Springs feels silly to me. I don’t believe I’ve ever been shopping and couldn’t wait for Starbucks until I was done in that store. It seems ridiculous, though I’m sure some will love it.
