Disney Valentine’s Day Gift Guide

Valentine’s Day is almost here, and if you’re the gift giving type (or your sweetie is the gift receiving type), it’s crunch time!  The good news is that for a Disney fan, there are plenty of gift options available, whether you’re celebrating in the parks or at home.

Let’s start with the obvious. Jewelry is a no-brainer for lots of couples. Some of the more popular gifts include Pandora charms, Alex and Ani bangles, and watches. They can be found at multiple locations throughout the parks and resorts, and they are also available on the Shop Disney app and website. The best part about the charms or bangles is that you can keep adding to them each year. You’ll never struggle for a gift idea again as long as they keep creating new designs.

Next, we have accessories. All sorts of lovey-dovey pin sets are available for purchase from the app, website, or on-site as well. This cute set below was available at my local Disney Store for $5 each ($10 for the set). As an added benefit, Disney is donating $1 to the Boys & Girls Club of America for each pin purchased.

And how cute are these three from the Shop Disney website?!

If pins aren’t his or her thing, then maybe it’s time to consider a park bag. Fans of Dooney & Bourke will want to check out the Sweethearts collection, but this cute canvas tote caught my eye. At $19.95 versus $228+ for the Dooney bag, it’s also the more budget-friendly option.  For the Star Wars fan in your life, the Stormtrooper backpack seems like a fun idea.

From a clothing perspective, you can’t go wrong with matching shirts. In addition to the official Disney versions, sets can also be ordered from third party sellers like Etsy or Redbubble. If you can talk your significant other into wearing them, they make for some really cute pictures in the parks. I personally wouldn’t say no to a gift of the luxurious Disney bath robes or cozy pajama sets available on the Shop Disney website either!

If you’re staying at a Disney resort, room service or a package from Disney Floral and Gifts could be a welcome surprise. Their Valentine’s Day-themed gifts range from $40 for a balloon bouquet to $400+ for a package with spa products, roses, robes, LED candles, a beverage of choice, and glasses. For those of us who won’t be basking in romantic bliss at the parks, a simple breakfast in bed with Mickey and Minnie shaped pancakes might do the trick.

They say it’s love that makes a house a home, so why not consider some gifts for around the house as well. I’ve adored these his and hers mug sets pictured below since I first saw them in stores. They each have one half of a heart carved out of them, so when you push them together, you get a heart shaped cut out. Disney has Mickey and Minnie sweetheart throws and pillows available too in case you just want to spend the day cuddled together.

What if your sweetheart either already has it all or just doesn’t want more stuff? Time to consider a Disney experience! If you’re at the parks or resorts, you have an endless amount of options. Go on the Wine Walk around World Showcase, spend an afternoon at a resort spa, take a cake decorating class for two (with mimosas), reserve a romantic dinner at one of these restaurants with last minute reservations, or try Amphicar, surrey, horseback, or carriage rides. Whatever your loved one’s interest is, Disney probably has some type of add-on to enjoy. And if you’re not at the parks, try a Disney movie night, plan your next Disney vacation, or reminisce about your previous Disney vacations.

Whether you decide to go all out on gifts or just make the extra effort to enjoy the holiday together, I hope you and your significant other have a wonderful day full of joy and love!

Do you usually give/receive Disney related Valentine’s Day gifts and if so, what’s your preference – a gifted item or gifted experience? Did I miss a Disney item that you’re really hoping to get this Valentine’s Day? Let us know in the comments below!

I like the idea of pins to give to my hubbie. He could put them on his park bag. When we visit I like to get a Jim Shore figure from the gift shops on Main Street .

With all of the great options at Disney, this post is a great way to narrow them down. As a coffee drinker, I love the mugs!
