Reservations for the new Rivers of Light Dessert Party are now available! What else do you have to look forward to at Walt Disney World next week? Keep reading!

Special Events

  • There’s a new Rivers of Light Dessert Party coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom! This experience begins August 6, and reservations can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE. Check out Rikki’s article for more event details!
  • Speaking of new, bring your kiddos to one of the Kidcot Fun Stops at the World Showcase in Epcot for a new activity! Young ones will now receive a traveler’s card and stickers at each pavilion instead of a paper cutout of Duffy the Disney Bear. In addition, they’ll also receive a suitcase-themed Ziploc bag to put their goodies in. *Ziploc now sponsors the Kidcot Fun Stops.
  • Dining Packages for the Candlelight Processional are now on sale! Prices vary, and this includes your meal and guaranteed seating for one of three performances that evening. Book your dining package online (you’ll find prices here as well) or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.
  • Due to overnight concrete work at Magic Kingdom park, the Move It! Shake It! Dance and Play It! Street Party will be cancelled July 26 and 30. The Main Street Trolley Show will be using the Main Street Ranch Wagon on those dates.
  • Stop by Disney Springs now through August 12 for the Beat the Heat DJ Dance Party. This splash party, located near Once Upon a Toy, takes place every Friday through Sunday from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm and includes treats, beverages, and games for all!

Liberty Square Riverboat is listed as closed for refurbishment on the WDW website, but you have it listed as open. Any idea which is correct?
