Disney Skyliner To Debut in the Fall of 2019

Guests who are anxious to ride Disney Skyliner will have to wait just a little bit longer. The upcoming transportation system will officially debut at the Walt Disney World Resort in the fall of 2019.

Disney Skyliner is going to be a state-of-the-art gondola system will connect Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and the upcoming 15th Disney Vacation Club property, Disney’s Riviera Resort.

The Disney Skyliner will soon give Guests a birds-eye view of the resort and yes, many of the gondolas will feature favorite Disney characters affixed to the windows. According to Disney, workers have just installed the last support tower and they are now beginning to thread the reinforced cables to carry guests in stylish themed gondolas.

The project was announced at the D23 Expo in 2017.
