Ask It: Theme Park New Year’s Resolutions

Happy Boxing Day! I hope all who celebrated had a fantastic Christmas, and those who don’t celebrate at least got the benefit of an extra day off of work. With Christmas behind us, many people’s thoughts begin to turn towards the new year. With that, of course, comes New Year’s resolutions. Popular ones, such as lose weight, quit a bad habit, or get out of debt, frequently make the rounds, but some people also have ones related to theme park experiences. (For instance, here’s some resolutions from 2017 from writers on the site.)

Today, we’re asking you:

What’s your theme park/vacation-related New Year’s resolution for 2019?

Let us know your grand plans in the comments. And because a support group is always important, let us know if you need helpful advice on how to achieve those goals. We’re here to help!

  • Mine is to visit a new park. We are WDW veterans but I have never been to Disneyland. I would love to make it happen in 2019.

  • 2019 may be the first time I attempt to tackle a brand-new E-ticket attraction. I got on Flight of Passage through Passholder previews, so there weren’t any crowds, and with every other major attraction launch, I’ve waited until the fever died down. But the new Forbidden Forest coaster at IOA will probably see me within a month or two of its debut.

So the New Year’s resolutions: be brave, arrive at the gates crazy early, and walk with purpose.
