It’s marathon weekend at Walt Disney World and for the first time in years, I’m not down there. But I still want to send my congratulations to all the runners/walkers/wheelchair participants. Trust me when I say, it doesn’t matter how fast you are, all that matters is that you finished and that you get that medal. (I have my first and only half marathon medal hanging up and it’s one of the things I’m most proud to have accomplished. It wasn’t easy, but no one can take away the fact that I’m a half marathoner.)

This week, the Disney internet community lost its mind for comments made by Bob Iger, Google, of all companies, built one of the best dark rides in years, and I can pick up Mickey Ice Cream Bars at home, and more.

While not really Disney related, it’s still really cool. (And I promise, there’s a tie in…) At the CES this week, Google created an incredible dark ride. It would be so cool if Disney and Google could bring this to Innoventions at Epcot. This is exactly what Innoventions was created for.

The Walt Disney Studios posted $7.3 Billion in global box office for 2018 and set a record for domestic box office with$3.09 Billion.
