Disney Announces Details About New Inside Out Attraction for Pixar Pier

This weekend is the official debut for Pixar Pier. With the Incredicoaster, the Pixar Pal-A-Round, new dining opportunities, fun games, and more all debuting, Disney California Adventure is the place to be.

However, there’s been one attraction that’s been known about this whole time, but besides the fact that it’s going to exist, not much else was known. That is until today.

Located on the western end of the pier, in the colorful Inside Out Headquarters section of Paradise Pier, will be the future home of Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind! This will be a whimsical family-friendly ride, which is inspired by the hit Pixar film, Inside Out. (The attraction may look familiar. That’s because it’s formerly Flik’s Flyers from a bug’s land, which is slated to close at the end of the summer.)

When all is said and done, there will be four neighborhoods for Guests to be able to discover when visiting Pixar Pier – Incredibles Park, Toy Story Boardwalk, Pixar Promenade and Inside Out Headquarters.

Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind will make its Pixar Pier debut in 2019.
