New Concept Art for Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge

Today, during the D23 Expo, we got a little bit of new information about the upcoming hotel and Disney Vacation Club property, Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge.

The resort itself is inspired by the wonders of nature, as well as the artistry of Walt Disney. That feel can be noticed immediately when looking at the concept art which features characters from the animated classic, Bambi, right out front.

In addition, we also learned that Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge will feature a restaurant themed around The Princess and the Frog! (Please be called Tiana’s Place!)

Reflections is currently being built near Fort Wilderness on the shores of Bay Lake. This new resort will include 900 rooms, as well as a number of accommodations types for Disney Vacation Club. The resort is slated to be Disney’s 16th Disney Vacation Club property and will welcome families in 2022.

  • Personally … I have been coming to WDW and Fort wilderness sense 1972 and my memories of River Country are still very clear. I was hoping the new resort would have a River Country theme to it some how Please reconsider some of the pool area to have similar slides and pool areas thanks Scott Sears DVC member sense 1998

  • The IP for reflections a lakeside lodge makes little sense to me, unless she’s cooking at Mamma Odies. This would be a better fit in New Orleans Square or Port Orleans, but we wouldn’t want to waste a character meal at a moderate would we?

    • I was thinking this same thing. Although you can get characters at Fort Wilderness…
