New Fireworks for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for 2019

Well, we have officially seen our last Happy Hallowishes fireworks spectacular for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This year, a brand new show will debut.

This new show, which doesn’t have an official name yet, will feature state-of-the-art projection effects, lasers, lighting and dazzling fireworks that come together to tell the story about how anything can happen on Halloween night. The show will take guests along on a trick-or-treating adventure, where Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy find themselves drawn into a mysterious haunted house. The journey takes them from one room of the house to another, encountering dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts and a whole series of Disney villains.

Happy Hallowishes ran for 14 years and the show brought out the Ghost Host who celebrated his favorite holiday with his favorite Disney villain friends.

Something else new this year for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is happening in Frontierland, where prospector Cactus-Flower Cate rounds up youngsters for the “Frontierland Costume Promenade,” encouraging them to show off their costumes for the treasure of candy! The “Frontierland Costume Promenade” takes place just prior to each run of Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade.

This year, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will run on select nights from August 16 to November 1.

  • Stoked for this. Happy HalloWishes was very good but if there’s one MK nighttime show that would benefit from TONS of castle projection effects, it’s the MNSSHP one.
