Waiting in line for Rise of the Resistance, only to have it be not operational, is no one’s idea of fun. But there’s some fun new merchandise celebrating Rise of the Resistance at Once Upon a Time, located on Sunset Boulevard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.   • Hopefully it will get more reliable, but in the meantime, your best bet if they’re still doing virtual queue at that point is to show up early and get in the virtual queue from the My Disney Experience app. Then do whatever until your number comes up. Oh, and May the Force Be with You!

  • Thanks for the update. We’re going to be there in about 10 days. Sounds like we need to pack our flexibility. 🙁

  • It opened….it closed. It opened again. It was delayed and then it was running. Technically the ride is open for business and doing better than some expected, but more than a few people were disappointed when they got part-way through the ride and then had to exit and “try again later”. Fingers crossed right now, it’s up for the moment!
